This is one of the notable contents in Official Dispatch 550/BGDDT-GDTC regarding the implementation of measures for preventing and controlling the Covid-19 pandemic in schools.
Preparing to welcome students back to school after a period of closure for Covid-19 prevention and control, the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam provides guidance on implementing disease prevention measures in educational institutions as follows:
Before students go to school, families should check the body temperature of preschool children, primary school students, and secondary school students; remind high school students and university students to measure their body temperature before going to school (ensure they only go to school if they are in normal health); do not allow students to go to school if they show any abnormal health signs;
When studying at school, teachers should guide, monitor, and regularly remind students to implement disease prevention measures as recommended by the Ministry of Health of Vietnam;
At the end of each school session, maintain cleaning and disinfecting of schools and classrooms according to guidelines; check and replenish hand sanitizer, soap, and other necessary items to prepare for the next session.
