Structure and number of members of the Government of Vietnam for Term of the XV National Assembly of Vietnam from February 18, 2025

The composition of members of the Government of Vietnam for the XV National Assembly term includes 25 members:

- The Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam;

- 07 Deputy Prime Ministers of the Government of Vietnam;

- 14 Ministers of the Ministries: National Defense; Public Security; Foreign Affairs; Home Affairs; Justice; Finance; Industry and Trade; Agriculture and Environment; Construction; Culture, Sports, and Tourism; Science and Technology; Education and Training; Health; Ethnic and Religious Affairs;

- 03 Heads of ministerial-level agencies: The Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam; The Government Inspector General of Vietnam; The Minister, Head of the Government Office of Vietnam.

Previously, under Resolution 20/2021/QH15, the composition of members of the Government of Vietnam for the XV National Assembly term included 27 members:

- The Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam;

- 04 Deputy Prime Ministers of the Government of Vietnam;

- 18 Ministers of the Ministries: National Defense; Public Security; Foreign Affairs; Home Affairs; Justice; Planning and Investment; Finance; Industry and Trade; Agriculture and Rural Development; Transportation; Construction; Natural Resources and Environment; Information and Communications; Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs; Culture, Sports and Tourism; Science and Technology; Education and Training; Health;

- 04 Heads of ministerial-level agencies: The Minister, Head of the Committee for Ethnic Affairs; The Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam; The Government Inspector General of Vietnam; The Minister, Head of the Government Office of Vietnam.

Resolution 177/2025/QH15 comes into effect upon approval by the National Assembly.

Resolution 20/2021/QH15 dated July 28, 2021, of the National Assembly on the composition of members of the Government of Vietnam for the XV National Assembly term and Resolution 143/2024/QH15 dated August 26, 2024, of the National Assembly on the addition of Deputy Prime Minister positions for the Government of Vietnam for the XV National Assembly term expire upon the efficacy of Resolution 177/2025/QH15.
