  • This morning on June 12, 2018, the National Assembly of Vietnam officially passed the Law on Cybersecurity with an approval rate of 86.86%. The Law officially takes effect from January 1, 2019.

  • Law amending and supplementing a number of provisions of the Law on Physical Training and Sports was approved by the National Assembly this morning (June 14, 2018) with a rate of 93.84% of Delegates in favor. The notable point in this amended Law is the official inclusion of the form of entertainment sports betting into the Law's regulations.

  • The classification levels for films have been adjusted into 04 more specific categories since January 1, 2017. Vietnam allows the dissemination of films with the condition of prohibiting dissemination to audiences under 13 years old (C13), under 16 years old (C16), or under 18 years old (C18) if the film contains content that is not suitable for the psychological, physiological development, or personality formation of each age group.
