Below is one of the 04 cases of dismissal of medical examiners as stipulated in Circular 52/2016/TT-BYT issued by the Ministry of Health of Vietnam.
Medical examiners in Vietnam will be dismissed if they fall into one of the following cases:
- Violation of professional regulations, medical examination expertise, professional ethics;
- Lack of professional capacity, expertise to perform medical examination duties;
- Insufficient health to work;
- Submission of a request to discontinue participation as a medical examiner.
During the term of office, if the appointed examiner in Vietnam retires or transfers to work outside the public healthcare facilities, that person will naturally no longer be an examiner.
Additionally, Circular 52 also stipulates the procedures for medical examination.
Circular 52/2016/TT-BYT takes effect from March 1, 2017, replacing Joint Circular 377/TT-LB dated March 21, 1977, and Joint Circular 25/TT-LB dated August 29, 1979.
