Below are the regulations regarding content and speeches on social media platforms when participating in the Online Friday 2024 in Vietnam, as stipulated in Decision 367/QD-TMDT in the year 2024.

On November 27, 2024, the Director of the Department of E-Commerce and Digital Economy of Vietnam issued Decision 367/QD-TMDT concerning the Regulations for partners participating in the National E-Commerce Week and online shopping day Online Friday 2024.
According to Article 6 of the Regulations on Participation in the National E-Commerce Week and Vietnam online shopping day Online Friday 2024, issued alongside Decision 367/QD-TMDT in 2024, the rules for content and statements on social media platforms during participation in the Online Friday 2024 are as follows:
- All statements related to the Program (Program name, objectives, content, theme, sponsors, partners, etc.) must comply with the materials and content from the Organizing Committee; unauthorized modifications or dissemination of unverified information are not allowed.
- The highlight of the Online Friday 2024 is supporting Vietnamese goods through the activity "Vietnamese Products Side by Side with Global Brands," hashtag #TuHaoHangViet. Partners, management companies of content creators, and content creators are permitted to promote officially registered products within the Program, prioritizing Vietnamese products on e-commerce platforms.
- Avoid negative personalized comments;
- Maintain a calm and professional demeanor when facing opposing opinions or negative feedback; avoid disputes and negative rebuttals on livestreams within the framework of the National E-Commerce Week and Vietnam online shopping day Online Friday 2024.
Additionally: Security protocols for activities within the Online Friday 2024 are specifically detailed in Article 7 of the Regulations on Participation in the National E-Commerce Week and Vietnam online shopping day Online Friday 2024, issued alongside Decision 367/QD-TMDT in 2024 as follows:
- Registered booths must comply with the Booth Regulations of the Organizing Committee and other regulations related to participating in the series of activities.
- Partners, organizations, and individuals are responsible for protecting personal assets and booths, as well as the products within them; maintaining the event space and the Organizing Committee’s assets.
- Adhere to fire safety and general safety guidelines at the venue of the National E-Commerce Week and Vietnam online shopping day Online Friday 2024.
The activities carried out within the National E-Commerce Week and online shopping day Online Friday 2024 are specifically outlined in point 4 of Section II of the Plan issued alongside Decision 2821/QD-BCT in 2024, including:
- Implementation of the "National E-Commerce Week," which includes: direct and online workshops on e-commerce and digital technology; interactive activities for consumers in the online environment; activities for dissemination, popularization, and experience for consumers, businesses, and regulatory authorities.
- Execution of the "60-hour Vietnam Online Shopping Day - Online Friday 2024" on the Program's affiliated websites and applications, offering nationwide promotional codes on platforms and promotional programs for products/services from large enterprises in the production and distribution sectors through e-commerce.
- Organization of an experience space, exhibiting genuine products and digital transformation solutions of Vietnamese enterprises in Hanoi and other central cities. Participating enterprises will display and introduce digital technology products and e-commerce solutions for public engagement, thereby promoting regional e-commerce connectivity and building trust for businesses and consumers in products and services.
- Conduct activities supporting the National E-Commerce Week to enhance the spirit of businesses and consumers for a "breakthrough" at the year-end period across all fields, fostering a connection between robust spirit and resilience in business activities, encouraging the participation of all entities in both e-commerce and traditional commerce transactions.
