Below is the content mentioned in the Decision 300/QĐ-TTg dated March 28, 2023 approving the National Action Plan to transform a transparent, responsible and sustainable food system in Vietnam until 2030 (Plan) issued by the Prime Minister of Vietnam.

The plan has set out a number of specific objectives until 2030, as follows:

- Rural residents' income is 2.5 to 3 times higher than in 2020.

- The rate of multidimensional poor households in rural areas in Vietnam decreased by an average of 1 to 1.5%/year.

- The rate of households with severe and moderate food insecurity in Vietnam is below 5%.

- The rate of malnutrition and stunting in children under 5 years old is below 15%. The rate of malnutrition and wasting in children under 5 years old is below 3%.

- The rate of overweight and obesity in children under 5 years old is below 10%; children 5–18 years old are below 19%; adults 19–64 years old are below 20%.

- The area of agricultural land for organic production reaches at least 2.5% of the total area of agricultural production land.

- Maintain food export turnover of over 30 billion USD/year.
