Regulations on the Jury Council of Vocational Education Lecturers' Teaching Contest - Illustration

In Article 7 of the Draft Circular regulating the vocational education lecturers' teaching contest, the Jury Council is as follows:

- Regarding the structure and composition of the Jury Council:

- The Jury Council consists of: Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Secretariat Subcommittee, and Examiner Subcommittees. Members of the Jury Council are experienced lecturers, officials, and experts with teaching experience, professional knowledge, and pedagogical skills, understanding of vocational education, good moral qualities, and competent in commentary and lecture evaluation;- The Examiner Subcommittees are established according to each specialized subcommittee;- Each Examiner Subcommittee has a Head and at least 02 members; including at least 01 member with pedagogical expertise and 01 member with suitable industry and trade expertise.

- Regarding the powers and responsibilities of the Jury Council: The Jury Council is responsible for objectively and accurately evaluating the content of the lectures presented by the lecturers participating in the Teaching Contest.

- Regarding the powers and responsibilities of the Chairman of the Jury Council:

- Direct, monitor, and be responsible for the evaluation activities, evaluation results of the presented lectures, and related issues;- Propose to the Head of the Organizing Committee to decide on the transfer or addition of examiners in the Examiner Subcommittees if necessary;- Report the evaluation results of the presented lectures to the Head of the Organizing Committee.

- Regarding the powers and responsibilities of the Vice-Chairman of the Jury Council:

- Assist the Chairman of the Jury Council as assigned;- Act on behalf of the Chairman of the Jury Council to resolve tasks when assigned by the Chairman.

- Regarding the powers and responsibilities of the Head of the Examiner Subcommittee:

- Manage and be responsible for the evaluation activities of the subcommittee;- Reflect, propose, and suggest adjustments to professional matters during the evaluation process and resolve related issues with the Chairman of the Jury Council;- Perform the duties of an examiner.

- Regarding the powers and responsibilities of examiners:

- Review the lecture evaluation form in advance;- Receive and pre-read lesson plans, outlines, etc., of the lecturers participating in the Teaching Contest within the subcommittee;- Carry out the evaluation of the lecture content in accordance with regulations, ensuring objectivity and accuracy;- Independently evaluate, score, and be responsible for their evaluation opinions.
