Duties of the Organizing Committee for the Educational Conference for Vocational Education Teachers

Article 6 of Draft Circular regulating the vocational education teacher lectures stipulates the tasks of the Organizing Committee for Vocational Education Teacher Lectures as follows:

- Regulate the details of the activities of the Lecture;- Develop a detailed plan for organizing the Lecture;- Prepare estimates, manage, and use the funds for organizing the Lecture;- Create evaluation sheets and evaluation criteria for lectures;- Establish the Jury Council, Professional Subcommittees by profession, and other supporting units of the Lecture. In cases where the profession has few participating teachers, a General Subcommittee is established;- Promote the Lecture;- Organize and execute the Lecture and other related activities (if any) as planned, on schedule;- Submit for approval the Reward Decision at the Lecture to the competent authority;- Address the complaints and petitions of individuals and groups participating in the Lecture during its organization;- Summarize, evaluate, and announce the results of the Lecture.

Additionally, the Draft also stipulates that the head of the level organizing the Lecture shall decide to establish the Organizing Committee for the Lecture at the corresponding level. The components of the Organizing Committee for the Lecture include: Chairman, Vice-Chairmen, Secretary Subcommittee, and other members. The number of members is determined by the head of the level organizing the Lecture based on the scale of the Lecture.

Furthermore, this Draft also stipulates the powers and responsibilities of the Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the Lecture as follows:

- Direct all activities of the Lecture;- Decide to establish the Jury Council and other supporting units;- Decide the content and format of the presentation lectures; the number of professional subcommittees, and the Jury Subcommittee;- Decide the scoring scale for evaluation of the contest contents and the scoring framework for awarding prizes at the Lecture.

Simultaneously, it also stipulates the powers and responsibilities of the Vice-Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the Lecture as follows:

- Assist the Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the Lecture as assigned;- Replace the Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the Lecture to handle works when assigned by the Chairman.
