Hanoi: Announcement on recruitment for officials of the Drug Administration of Vietnam in 2020

The Drug Administration of Vietnam announces the official recruitment by examination to work at the Drug Administration of Vietnam under the Ministry of Health in 2020 as follows:

1. Conditions for registration for recruitment:

Persons meeting the following conditions, regardless of ethnicity, gender, social composition, or religion, can apply for the official recruitment:

- Have one nationality which is Vietnamese nationality;

- Be at least 18 years old;

- Have an application; have a clear background;

- Have appropriate diplomas and certificates;

- Have good political and ethical qualities;

- Have good health to perform the tasks;

- Other conditions as required by the recruited job position.

Note: The following persons are not eligible for official recruitment:

- Do not reside in Vietnam;

- Lost or have restricted civil behavioral capacity;

- Be under criminal prosecution; serve or have served a criminal judgment, or decision of the Court without criminal record clearance; under administrative measures of being sent to medical facilities or educational institutions.

2. Number of job positions and qualification requirements:

- Targets: 07 positions for 5 job positions.

- Requirements for foreign language and informatics:

+ Have a foreign language certificate equivalent to level 2 of the Vietnamese foreign language competency framework as regulated in Circular 01/2014/TT-BGDĐT;

+ Have an informatics certificate meeting the standards of basic information technology skills as regulated in Circular 03/2014/TT-BTTTT.

- Qualification requirements according to the job positions:

3. Application for registration includes Registration form (Appendix issued with Decree 161/2018/ND-CP).

4. Content, format, and time of holding the examination for official recruitment:

The examination for official recruitment is conducted through 2 rounds as regulated in Clause 4 Article 1 of Decree 161/2018/ND-CP as follows:

* Round 1: Multiple-choice test paper by computer

- The multiple-choice test paper includes 2 parts:

+ Part I: General knowledge, 60 minutes.

Including 60 questions about the political system, the organizational structure of the Communist Party, of Vietnam State, political-social organizations; state administrative management; official and official duty; policies and laws of the State on the field of recruitment; duties of officials as required by the recruited job position.

+ Part II: Foreign language test paper, 30 questions in English. 30 minutes.

- Exemption from the foreign language test paper (round 1) for the following cases:

+ Holding a university or postgraduate degree in foreign languages;

+ Holding a university or postgraduate degree abroad or graduated from a university or postgraduate program at a foreign language training institution in Vietnam;

* Round 2: Professional test paper

- Content: Knowledge, capability, and practical skills of the candidate as required by the recruited job position.

Different job positions require different specialized professional skills, and the recruiting authority will develop different question papers for specialized professional subjects under the requirements of the position.

- Test format: Interview.

- Scoring scale: 100 points.

- Test time: 30 minutes.

Note:

+ For round 1: The results are determined based on the number of correct answers in each section; if the candidate answers 50% or more of the questions correctly in each section, they can proceed to round 2. There is no re-evaluation.

+ For round 2: No re-evaluation for the interview form.

5. Deadline, and place for submitting the Registration Form, Application, and examination fee:

- Application reception time limit: 30 days from the date of public recruitment announcement in the media, on the website of the Drug Administration of Vietnam.

- Application reception place: Office of the Drug Administration of Vietnam - Room 102, Building A, Ministry of Health, 138A Giang Vo, Ba Dinh, Hanoi. Contact number: 0243. 7366483.

- Submission method: Applicants submit directly at the reception place.

- Examination fee: According to the regulations in Circular 228/2016/TT-BTC regulating the collection, submission, management, and use of fees for recruitment and examination for rank promotion for officials and public employees.

6. Time of holding the examination for official recruitment:

- Tentatively in July 2020. The council does not organize review sessions, participants self-study according to materials provided by the recruitment council.

- The list of candidates eligible for the examination and related information will be posted at the headquarters of the Drug Administration of Vietnam and on the website https://dav.gov.vn/.
