On February 7, 2025, the Supreme People's Court issued Notification 97/TB-TANDTC to organize the recruitment examination for the Clerk Position in 2025 for People's Courts in the Southern Region.

Quota and recruitment method for the clerk position in 2025 in Vietnam

The Supreme People's Court recruits 294 positions for the Clerk Position to work at People's Courts in the Southern Region (including: High People's Court in Da Nang; High People's Court in Ho Chi Minh City; units in the Southern Region under the Office of Supreme People's Court and all People's Courts in provinces from Da Nang onwards).

Recruitment will be conducted through an examination.

Conditions to apply for the clerk position in 2025 in Vietnam

* General Conditions and Standards

Individuals meeting the following conditions, regardless of ethnicity, gender, social component, belief, or religion, are eligible to register for recruitment to work in People's Courts in the Southern Region:

- Possess Vietnamese nationality;

- At least 18 years of age;

- Submit a Registration Form with clear personal history, confirmed by a competent authority within 30 days prior to the submission date for registration;

- Possess good political and ethical qualities; have no history or family record violations of Supreme People's Court regulations on internal political protection;

- Physically capable according to the conclusion of a competent medical authority, not being deformed, handicapped, or having speech impediments.

* Specific Conditions and Standards for the Required Position

- Professional Qualification:

Hold a Bachelor's degree in Law or higher.

- Foreign Language Proficiency:

Possess foreign language proficiency (English) of level 1 (or equivalent) according to the Vietnamese Foreign Language Proficiency Framework as stipulated in Circular 01/2014/TT-BGDDT, dated January 24, 2014, issued by the Ministry of Education and Training for the 6-level Foreign Language Proficiency Framework in Vietnam.

- IT Proficiency:

Possess IT proficiency meeting the basic IT skill standards as stipulated in Circular 03/2014/TT-BTTTT, dated March 11, 2014, by the Ministry of Information and Communications regulating IT skill standards.

* Priority in Recruitment

- Heroes of Armed Forces, Labor Heroes, war invalids, individuals enjoying policies equivalent to war invalids, type B war invalids: additional 7.5 points added to the Round 2 exam results;

- Ethnic minorities, military officers, police officers, demobilized professional soldiers, individuals moving from key sectors, graduates from reserve officer training, graduates trained as commanders of commune-level military commands: additional 5 points to Round 2 exam results;

- Individuals completing military service, participating in the People's Police, young volunteer forces: additional 2.5 points to Round 2 exam results;

- Union officials advancing from grassroots levels, in labor movement as prescribed by competent authorities: additional 1.5 points to Round 2 exam results.

In cases where candidates fall under multiple priority categories, only the highest priority points will be added to the Round 2 exam scores. Priority documents must be issued by competent authorities before the end of the application deadline. If issued after the deadline, priority points will not be added as stipulated. Preference information must be declared in the Registration Form. Supplemental declarations or priority documents after the application deadline will not be considered for added priority points.

* Individuals Ineligible for Registration

- Not residing in Vietnam;

- With limited or lost civil act capacity;

- Under criminal prosecution; undergoing or having completed a criminal sentence or verdict by a court without criminal record expungement; under administrative measures leading to compulsory treatment, education; disciplined by competent authorities from warning upwards or under review for disciplinary action;

- Personal and family political standards issues as per Communist Party and Supreme People's Court regulations.
