Standards for Inspector Rank

Inspector Rank Standards (Illustrative Image)

- Loyal to the Fatherland and the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; possesses good moral character, a sense of responsibility, integrity, honesty, fairness, and objectivity;- University graduate, knowledgeable in state management and law; for specialized Inspectors, additional expertise in the relevant field is required;- Possesses a diploma or certificate in inspection skills;- Has at least 02 years of inspection work experience (excluding the probation period), except for officials and public employees, officers of the People's Army, or officers of the People's Public Security working in other agencies, organizations, or units for 05 years or more before transferring to the state inspection agency.

To be specific: the professional standards regarding qualifications and work seniority are as follows:

- Graduated from a university or higher in a field relevant to the area of current work;- Holds a diploma or certificate in inspector rank training;- Holds a diploma or certificate in state management rank specialist training;- Holds a foreign language certificate of level B or higher in one of the following languages: English, French, Russian, Chinese, German. For officials working in localities in mountainous, remote areas, border regions, islands using ethnic minority languages directly in their work, the foreign language certificate can be replaced with an ethnic minority language certificate issued by a competent authority or confirmed by the Head of the inspection agency where the official works;- Proficient in office IT or holds an office IT certificate;- Has at least 02 years of inspection work experience (excluding the probation period).
