What are the Guidelines for Paying University Admission Fees via Momo in Vietnam in 2024?

Under Section 1 Recommendations and notes for candidates when paying university and college admission fees online in 2024, as issued with Official Dispatch 3712/BGDDT-CNTT in 2024, it regulates 17 payment channels for aspirations in 2024, including e-wallets: VNPT Money; Momo; Viettel Money.

Based on the Guide for Online Payment of Admission Fees (for candidates) issued with Official Dispatch 3712/BGDDT-CNTT in 2024, the Ministry of Education and Training provides guidelines for paying university admission fees via Momo in 2024 in 6 steps as follows:

Step 1: To carry out the payment of aspiration fees, candidates select the "Admission Information Registration" section on the left column, then press the "Payment" button on the screen. The list of registered aspirations will appear.

Step 2: On the payment confirmation screen, candidates read the content and press the "Confirm Payment" button.

Then candidates press the "Agree" button to proceed with the payment.

Step 3: Select the payment channel "Momo" then press "Payment."

Step 4: The system displays the QR code; candidates use the Momo app to scan the QR code for payment. Candidates can ask anyone using the Momo app to scan the QR code, or take a photo of the QR code displayed on the payment form and send it to another person (using the Momo app) to scan the QR code (note the expiration time for each transaction).

On the QR code scanning screen on the Momo app installed on a mobile phone, candidates should aim correctly at the QR code area.

Step 5: Press "Confirm" to complete the payment.

Step 6: Check the status of the aspiration. Note: if the aspiration status has not changed to "Acknowledged Aspiration – Fee Paid," press Ctrl + F5 to refresh the screen.

Can candidates check the admission fee receipt on the admission system when paying via Momo in Vietnam?

- After successfully paying, candidates are confirmed to have fulfilled their fee payment obligation (the fee receipt can be viewed on the Admission System after August 6, 2024).

- If you receive a transaction failure notification, candidates can retry on that payment channel or switch to another prepared payment channel (in Step a)).

- When calling the support hotline, if you need to provide information about the failed transaction for support, candidates can press the "Transaction History" button (in the Admission System) to view transaction details: Dossier code; reference code; transaction code; bank code; transaction time; amount; status.

Additional notes for candidates to successfully and accurately pay the fee

a) Prepare a bank account/e-wallet to pay the fee

b) Stay calm when performing the fee payment transaction

- Candidates/parents perform the steps corresponding to the chosen payment channel, do not close the browser until receiving the final notification. If encountering difficulties during the transaction, candidates/parents contact the hotline number displayed on the payment page (of the chosen payment channel) for guidance or switch to another prepared payment channel (in Step a)).

- In case candidates/parents have received a debit notification (in the bank account/e-wallet used) but did not receive a success notification on the Admission System, candidates/parents are requested to contact the payment channel's hotline or the Admission System's hotline to report and receive support for checking and guidance. In this case, candidates are requested not to continue the payment by themselves. If duplicate payment occurs, the candidates will be refunded the duplicate payment (after the fee payment period ends).

During the payment process, if candidates/parents receive a debit notification on the Momo e-wallet account used but do not receive a success notification on the Admission System, it is advised: In this case, candidates are requested not to continue the payment by themselves.
