Payment and Recovery of Reimbursement Costs
- Within no more than 60 (sixty) days from the date of receiving the decision from the competent state authority, the student or their family in Vietnam is responsible for paying the full reimbursement amount.
- Reimbursement costs shall be paid into the state budget according to the current budget management decentralization and in accordance with the State Budget Law regarding the management of revenue recovered to the budget.
- If the student or their family in Vietnam does not fulfill the reimbursement obligation, the competent state authority that issued the reimbursement decision has the right to sue as per legal regulations.
- If the student or their family in Vietnam delays fulfilling the reimbursement obligation, they must bear the maximum interest rate applied for non-term deposits as stipulated by the State Bank of Vietnam for the delayed reimbursement amount. If the State Bank does not stipulate the maximum interest rate for non-term deposits, the student or their family in Vietnam must bear the interest rate applied to non-term deposits of the Vietnam Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade at the time of fulfilling the reimbursement obligation.
