On April 22, 2020, the Ministry of Transport issued the emergency Official Dispatch No. 3864/BGTVT-VT to implement the directive of the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam at the meeting of the Standing Committee of the Government of Vietnam on Covid-19 prevention and control dated April 22, 2020.
The Ministry of Transport requires the continued restriction of passenger transport and the application of measures to ensure epidemic prevention according to Official Dispatch 3863/BGTVT-CYT dated April 22, 2020, with the following specific plan:
- The Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City route and vice versa have a total frequency of 20 round-trip flights/day;- The Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh City - Da Nang routes and vice versa have a total frequency of 6 round-trip flights/day/route;- Inter-provincial passenger buses on fixed routes: allowed to operate up to 30% according to the schedule for provinces in the high-risk group and up to 50% according to the schedule for provinces in the low-risk group;- Inter-provincial contract passenger buses, tourist buses: allowed to operate up to 30% of the total number of vehicles of the transportation business units for provinces in the high-risk group and up to 50% of the total number of vehicles of the transportation business units for provinces in the low-risk group.
