Number of civil servants working at Market Management agencies at all levels in Vietnam

Regulations on civil servant numbers working at Market Management agencies at all levels are as follows:

(1) The civil servant number consists of two parts: the first part is the symbol "TW" (for central market management agencies) or code (for market management agencies in provinces and centrally run cities); The second part includes the word "QLTT" and a series of natural numbers (including 03 digits), which is the number issued to each civil servant; The two parts are connected by a hyphen (-). Sample civil servant numbers are shown in the Appendix issued with Circular 25/2023/TT-BCT.

(2) Each civil servant working at the Market Management agency at all levels is issued a civil servant number, which is also the number recorded on the Market Management sign and is the number of the civil servant's Market Inspection Card.

(3) The General Department of Market Management is responsible for helping the Minister of Industry and Trade unify the management of civil servant numbers working at Market Management agencies at all levels according to regulations in Circular 25/2023/TT-BCT.

Procedures for issuing civil servant numbers working at Market Management agencies at all levels

**Dossier to request a civil servant number includes:

- Document requesting the issuance of a civil servant number from the Market Management agency where civil servants are recruited, received, transferred, appointed, rotated, and seconded (hereinafter referred to as reception);

- 01 (one) certified copy of the decision to accept work at the Market Management agency.

**Procedures for granting registration numbers:

- Within 10 working days from the date the civil servant is accepted to work at the central Market Management agency, the Department of Personnel Organization under the General Department of Market Management prepares a dossier requesting the issuance of a civil servant number and requests the Director General of the General Department of Market Management to consider and decide.

Within 15 working days from the date civil servants are accepted to work at Market Management agencies in centrally-run provinces and cities, the Head of the Provincial Market Management Agency prepares a dossier requesting the issuance of civil servant numbers for civil servants of the unit and requests the Director General of the General Department of Market Management to consider and decide;

- Within 15 working days from the date of receiving the valid dossier, the Director General of the General Department of Market Management decides to issue a number to the requested civil servant.

Circular 25/2023/TT-BCT takes effect on January 20, 2024.
