Amendment to the National Technical Regulation on the quality of internet access services on 5G terrestrial mobile telecommunications networks in Vietnam

The 1:2024 QCVN 126:2021/BTTTT for the National Technical Regulation on the quality of internet access services on 5G terrestrial mobile telecommunications networks is amended together with the Circular 22/2024/TT-BTTTT.

Addition of the indicator for the Percentage (%) of samples with the download speed specified in section 2.1.5.2:

- Percentage (%) of samples with a download speed greater than or equal to 100 Mbit/s ≥ 90%;

* Responsibilities of enterprises providing 5G services according to QCVN 126:2021/BTTTT:

- Telecommunication enterprises providing Internet access services over terrestrial mobile telecommunications networks 5G must ensure the service quality complies with this Regulation, publicly announce the service quality, and are subject to inspection by state regulatory agencies in accordance with current regulations.

- Telecommunication enterprises providing Internet access services over terrestrial mobile telecommunications networks 5G are responsible for setting up servers meeting the requirements in section A1, Appendix A to ensure the quality inspection and monitoring as per this Regulation.

- Telecommunication enterprises providing Internet access services over terrestrial mobile telecommunications networks 5G must publish service coverage areas in the form of digital maps. General requirements for service coverage areas in digital map form are specified in Appendix B.

- The specific responsibilities of telecommunication enterprises providing Internet access services over terrestrial mobile telecommunications networks 5G are stipulated in legal documents regarding telecommunications service quality management.
