Dossiers requesting support due to reduced working hours or contract termination

On January 16, 2023, the General Confederation of Labor issued Decision 6696/QĐ-TLD on implementing policies to support trade union members and employees whose working hours are reduced or labor contracts are terminated due to enterprises cutting or reducing orders in Vietnam.

Dossiers requesting support due to reduced working hours or contract termination include:

- List of union members and employees whose working hours have been reduced or stopped due to layoffs or reduced orders with confirmation from the local union and the employer (according to Form No. 01 in the Appendix issued with Decision 6696/QD-TLD).

- Copies of documents, plans, and decisions to re-arrange working hours, production, and business; reduce daily, weekly, and monthly working hours due to business cuts or reduced orders.

- In case the employee is not a union member but is a pregnant female, is raising a biological or adopted child, or is taking care of a child under 6 years old, then add a copy of one of the following documents:

Documents proving that the employee is pregnant; Birth certificate or Birth certificate of children; adoption certificate; decision on handing over or receiving alternative care for children by the competent authority.

Decision 6696/QD-TLD takes effect from the date of signing.
