New: Establishment of commune-level town Tho Tang, Vinh Tuong District, Vinh Phuc Province with 14,049 residents (Illustration Image)

Decree 51/2007/ND-CP stipulates the establishment of the commune-level town Tho Tang, commune-level town Thanh Lang in Vinh Tuong District, Binh Xuyen District, Vinh Phuc Province as follows:

1. Establishment of commune-level town Tho Tang under Vinh Tuong District based on the entire natural land area and existing population of Tho Tang commune.

- Tho Tang town has 526.79 hectares of natural land area and 14,049 residents.

- Administrative boundaries of the commune-level town Tho Tang: East borders Vinh Son commune and Dai Dong commune, Vinh Tuong District; West borders Tan Cuong commune and Lung Hoa commune, Vinh Tuong District; South borders Thuong Trung commune and Vinh Son commune, Vinh Tuong District; North borders Tan Tien commune and Lung Hoa commune, Vinh Tuong District.

- After the establishment of the commune-level town Tho Tang: Vinh Tuong District will have 29 administrative units, including the communes: Kim Xa, Yen Binh, Nghia Hung, Chan Hung, Dai Dong, Tan Tien, Yen Lap, Viet Xuan, Bo Sao, Lung Hoa, Cao Dai, Phu Thinh, Ly Nhan, An Tuong, Tuan Chinh, Thuong Trung, Tan Cuong, Vinh Son, Binh Duong, Van Xuan, Vu Di, Tam Phuc, Vinh Thinh, Vinh Ninh, Phu Da, Ngu Kien, Tu Trung and the commune-level towns: Vinh Tuong, Tho Tang.

2. Establishment of commune-level town Thanh Lang under Binh Xuyen District based on the entire natural land area and existing population of Thanh Lang commune.

- Thanh Lang town has 948.21 hectares of natural land area and 13,437 residents.

- Administrative boundaries of the commune-level town Thanh Lang: East borders Tan Phong commune, Phu Xuan commune, Binh Xuyen District; West borders Binh Dinh commune, Yen Lac town, Yen Lac District; South borders Nguyet Duc commune, Van Tien commune, Yen Lac District; North borders Thanh Tru commune, Vinh Yen City.
