Regarding this issue, LawNet would like to answer as follows:
- Labor and Social Affairs Magazine is a mouthpiece under the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Affairs, performing the function of providing theoretical and professional information; promoting the party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws in the fields of labor, people with meritorious services, and society.
- Magazine of Labor and Social Affairs is a public service unit operating under the Press Law and other relevant regulations; it has legal status, a seal, and a separate account according to the provisions of the law; it is headquartered in Hanoi City.
- The Journal of Labor and Social Affairs has an international transaction name: Magazine of Labor and Social Affairs.

The tasks and powers of the Magazine of Labor and Social Affairs are specified in Article 2 of Decision 1869/QD-LDTBXH 2018, including:
- Comply with the principles, purposes, and service subjects specified in the Press Activity License; develop and submit to the Ministry of Planning long-term and annual development plans and other activities of the magazine according to the provisions of law; and organize implementation after approval.
- Propagate the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws in the fields of labor, people with meritorious services, and society. Disseminating typical models, praising good people and good deeds, fighting against violations and manifestations of corruption and negativity in the field of labor, people with meritorious services, and society according to the provisions of the law and the assignment of the Ministry.
- Research, exchange of theories and expertise; information on research results in the fields of labor, people with meritorious services, society, and other activities of the Ministry and branches.
- Organize the editing, publishing, and distribution of print magazines and electronic magazines for labor and society in accordance with the regulations in the license to operate a print press and the license to operate electronic magazines on the Internet and legal regulations.
- Coordinate with units under the Ministry and relevant organizations to propagate, publish, and release topics and publications on the fields of labor, people with meritorious services, society, and other topics and publications as prescribed by law and assigned by the Ministry.
- Organize service activities and media events in accordance with the unit's field of expertise and capabilities according to the provisions of the law.
- Participate in scientific research, training, and fostering to improve professional qualifications for the Journal's team of journalists, reporters, editors, technical staff, and other professional positions to meet the assigned task requirements.
- Manage organizational structure and number of employees; finance, assets, and funding according to the provisions of law; and management decentralization of the Ministry.
- Implement information and reporting regimes according to the regulations of the Ministry and other tasks assigned by the Minister.
- The Magazine of Labor and Social Affairs has an Editor-in-Chief and no more than 03 Deputy Editors-in-Chief.
