Vietnam's HS codes of endangered, precious, and rare species of forest fauna and flora

Pursuant to Decree No. 84/2021/ND-CP on amendments to Decree No. 06/2019/ND-CP on the management of endangered, rare, and precious species of forest fauna and flora and implementation of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora;

At the request of the Director of the Forest Protection Department; 

The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam promulgates a Circular on the HS codes of goods that are endangered, precious, and rare species of forest fauna and flora and fauna and flora included in Appendixes of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Specifies of Wild Fauna and Flora.

Decision No. 924/QD-BNN-TCLN dated March 24, 2017 of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam promulgating HS codes of goods that are endangered, precious, and rare species of forest fauna and flora shall expire as of January 30, 2024. 

Attention:

- In case of new legislative documents with changes to names and groups of species prescribed in the list of endangered, precious, and rare species of forest fauna and Appendixes of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Specifies of Wild Fauna and Flora, comply with such legislative documents. 

- In case of changes to HS codes and types of goods, comply with regulations of the Minister of Finance of Vietnam on Vietnam’s Nomenclature of imports and exports.
