Students of the Public Security Culture School will not have health insurance paid by the government from December 25, 2019

This is the new content stipulated in Circular 57/2019/TT-BCA guiding the implementation of health insurance for workers, students, and relatives of officers, soldiers, and public security workers serving and working in the People's Public Security Forces.

To be specific, Article 3 Circular 57 stipulates the subjects for whom the state budget (NSNN) pays health insurance (BHYT), including:

- Relatives of officers and soldiers, including: Biological father, biological mother; biological father, biological mother of the spouse; legal guardians of oneself, the spouse; spouse; biological children, legally adopted children aged 6 to under 18 years; biological children, legally adopted children aged 18 years or older if they are still attending high school;- Foreign students studying at CAND schools who are granted scholarships from the NSNN.

Currently, according to the provisions of Joint Circular 09/2015/TTLT-BCA-BYT-BTC, students of the CAND Culture School are paid BHYT by the NSNN. However, according to Circular 57, from December 25, 2019, these subjects will only be supported by the NSNN in terms of BHYT premiums.

Details can be found in Circular 57/2019/TT-BCA, which takes effect from December 25, 2019, and repeals Joint Circular 09/2015/TTLT-BCA-BYT-BTC.
