- The probation period for those selected for the professional title of Medical Assistant (rank IV), Nurse (rank IV), Pharmacist (rank IV), Midwife (rank IV), Medical Technician (rank IV), Nutritionist (rank IV), Population Officer (rank IV) is 06 months;- The probation period for those selected for the professional title of Doctor (rank III), Preventive Medicine Doctor (rank III) is 09 months;- The probation period for those selected for the professional title of Public Health (rank III), Pharmacist (rank III), Nurse (rank III), Midwife (rank III), Medical Technician (rank III), Nutritionist (rank III), Population Officer (rank III) is 12 months.

The time spent on maternity leave according to social insurance benefits, sick leave from 03 days or more; being temporarily detained, temporarily held, or temporarily suspended from work will not be counted towards the probation period.

Circular 43/2016/TT-BYT is effective from February 01, 2017.
