Steps for data cleansing to issue organizational identification for enterprises and cooperatives in Vietnam

For cases where personal data "does not match" with the National Population Database, the Business Registration Authority is responsible for urging and guiding the cleansing of personal data for enterprises, cooperatives, and cooperative unions so that the Public Security agencies can issue organizational identification before June 30, 2025.

The steps for cleansing data to issue organizational identification for enterprises, cooperatives, and cooperative unions are as follows:

(i) Step 1: The Business Registration Authority formulates a plan to review and cleanse personal information.

The Business Registration Authority accesses the Management Reporting Application to search for a list of enterprises, cooperatives, and cooperative unions with personal data "not matching" with the National Population Database to formulate a plan for reviewing and cleansing personal information.

(ii) Step 2: The Business Registration Authority notifies enterprises, cooperatives, and cooperative unions about the review of enterprise registration information, cooperatives, and cooperative unions.

The Business Registration Authority allocates resources to notify enterprises with "non-matching" data to update their personal information.

(iii) Step 3: The Business Registration Authority guides enterprises, cooperatives, and cooperative unions in updating personal information.

The Business Registration Authority allocates resources to propagate and guide enterprises, cooperatives, and cooperative unions in updating their personal information. Guidance materials are published on the National Business Registration Information Portal.

(iv) Step 4: The Business Registration Authority handles additional records and updates of personal information.

The Business Registration Authority allocates sufficient resources to handle additional records and updates of personal information.

(v) Step 5: The Business Registration Authority reports on the implementation status of the review and cleansing of personal information.

The Business Registration Authority reports the summary of the personal information review and cleansing situation. Completion by June 30, 2025.
