12 internal procedures to handle administrative procedures related to Irrigation approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam has approved 12 internal procedures to handle administrative procedures related to Irrigation 

- Issuing permits for activities within the protected area of irrigation works: construction of new works; setting up wharves and storage yards for raw materials, fuel, supplies, and means; Drilling, digging for geological surveys, exploration and exploitation of minerals, building materials, and underground water; Construction of underground works is under the licensing authority of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

- Granting permits for tourism, sports, scientific research, business, and service activities under the licensing authority of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

- Issuing permits for blasting and other explosive activities under the licensing authority of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

- Issuing, renewing, and adjusting the content of permits for blasting and other explosive activities under the licensing authority of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

- Issuance of extensions, adjustment of permit contents: construction of new works; setting up wharves and storage yards for raw materials, fuel, supplies, and means; Drilling, digging for geological surveys, exploration and exploitation of minerals, building materials, and underground water; Construction of underground works is under the licensing authority of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

- Issuing, extending, and adjusting the content of permits for tourism, sports, scientific research, business, and service activities under the licensing authority of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam.

- Re-issuance of permits for activities within the protection of irrigation works in case of loss, tearing, or damage falling under the licensing authority of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam.

- Re-issuance of permits for activities within the protected area of irrigation works in case the name of the license holder has been changed due to the transfer, merger, division, or restructuring of the organization under the licensing authority of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

- Appraisal and adjustment of the operating procedures for special important irrigation works and works whose exploitation and protection involve two or more provinces managed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam.

- Appraisal, approval, adjustment, and public announcement of the operation process of water reservoirs under the authority of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam.

- Appraisal and approval of the outline and results of safety inspections of dams and irrigation reservoirs under the authority of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam.

- Approve plans to protect dams and water reservoirs under the authority of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
