  • On November 20, 2014, the National Assembly passed the Law on Citizenship Identification. The Law on Citizenship Identification came into effect on January 1, 2016, and stipulates the following key matters: citizenship identification; citizenship identification database; national database on population; management and usage of citizenship identification cards; rights, obligations, and responsibilities of related agencies, organizations, and individuals.
