Vietnam: Dossiers in the apartment building documentation

On February 15, 2016, the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam issued Circular No. 02/2016/TT-BXD, which specifies the dossiers that are required in the apartment building documentation.

According to Circular No. 02/2016/TT-BXD of the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam, the investor shall be responsible for establishing documents of apartment buildings; the documents include:

- Investment and construction project documents approved by competent agencies including the project’s legal documents and as-built documents according to the Law on Construction;

- Procedures on maintenance of apartment buildings shall be established and submitted for approval by the investor according to the Law on Construction;

- Procedures on maintenance of equipment that belong to commonly owned portion of apartment building shall be established by equipment supplier;

- Drawing of motorbike parking lot shall be established by the investor on the basis of approved project documents and designs with owner and occupant parking areas (including motorbike parking area owned in common, auto parking lot) and public parking lot.
