The Government of Vietnam issued Decree No. 162/2018/NĐ-CP on November 30, 2018, which specifies administrative penalties for violations against regulations on disaster preparedness and control, and aerodrome emergency.
According to Decree No. 162/2018/NĐ-CP of Vietnam’s Government, a fine ranging from VND 20,000,000 (twenty million) to VND 30,000,000 (thirty million) shall be imposed for committing one of the following violations:
- Failure to adhere to the plan for disaster preparedness and control or the aerodrome emergency plan;
- Failure to examine and maintain the anchoring and aircraft parking system in aprons, or the drainage system at an airport or aerodrome;
- Failure to examine and reinforce premises, buildings, hangars or towers as regulated;
- Failure to maintain announced aerodrome rescue and fire fighting conditions.
A fine ranging from VND 30,000,000 (thirty million) to VND 40,000,000 (forty million) shall be imposed for committing one of the following violations:
- Failure to formulate the disaster preparedness and control plan or the aerodrome emergency plan as regulated;
- Failure to have sufficient vehicles and equipment for disaster preparedness and control, or the anchoring and aircraft parking system in aprons as regulated.
