Laws and Resolutions approved at the 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly in Vietnam (Internet image) 

On November 29, 2023, the National Assembly passed Resolution 110/2023/QH15 on the 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly.

1. Laws and Resolutions approved at the 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly in Vietnam

Appoval of 07 laws:

- Identity Law;

- Real Estate Business Law;

- Law on Forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots;

- Housing law;

- Law on Management and Protection of National Defense Works and Military Zones;

- Law on Water Resources;

- Telecommunications Law.

Approved 09 resolutions:

- Resolution confirming the results of votes of confidence for position holders elected or approved by the National Assembly;

- Resolution on the 2024 Socio-Economic Development Plan;

- Resolution on state budget estimates for 2024;

- Resolution on central budget allocation in 2024;

- Resolution on piloting a number of specific policies on investment in road construction;

- Resolution on the application of additional corporate income tax according to regulations to prevent global tax base erosion;

- Resolution on thematic supervision "Implementation of the National Assembly's resolutions on the National Target Programs on building new rural areas in the period 2021 - 2025, sustainable poverty reduction in the period 2021 - 2025, socio-economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the period 2021 - 2030";

- Resolution on continuing to implement a number of resolutions of the 14th National Assembly and from the beginning of the 15th term to the end of the 4th Session on thematic supervision and questioning;

- Resolution of the 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly.

2. The law that was first commented on at the 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly

At the 6th Session, give opinions on the reception, revision, and decision to adjust the time of submitting to the National Assembly for consideration and approval of the Land Law project (amended) and the Law on Credit Institutions project (amended) to the nearest session, ensuring quality and promptly removing difficulties and obstacles from current practice. Giving first opinions on 08 legal projects:

- Law on Social Insurance (amended);

- Law on National Defense Industry, Security and Industrial Mobilization;

- Road rules;

- Law on road traffic order and safety;

- Law on Archives (amended);

- Capital Law (amended);

- Law on Organization of People's Courts (amended);

- Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Asset Auctions.

Assign the National Assembly Standing Committee to direct National Assembly agencies to closely coordinate with submitting and drafting agencies and relevant agencies research, explain, absorb maximum opinions of National Assembly deputies, and revise draft laws to ensure quality and progress.

3. Regulations on summarizing the National Assembly session

- The Head of the National Assembly Delegation organizes for National Assembly delegates in the Delegation to evaluate the results of the National Assembly session; send a report summarizing the delegation's opinions to the National Assembly Standing Committee before the closing of the National Assembly session. The Secretary General of the National Assembly is responsible for synthesizing opinions of National Assembly delegations and reporting to the National Assembly Standing Committee.

- After the closing of the National Assembly session, at the most recent session, based on the opinions of the National Assembly delegations, relevant agencies, organizations and individuals, the National Assembly Standing Committee organizes a summary. National Assembly session with the participation of the President, Government representatives, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court, Director of the Supreme People's Procuracy, State Auditor General, Standing Representative of the Ethnic Council, Standing Committee of the National Assembly, General Secretary of the National Assembly, representative of agencies under the Standing Committee of the National Assembly and relevant agencies, organizations and individuals.

- The summary report of the National Assembly session is sent to National Assembly delegates, relevant agencies, organizations and individuals and posted on the National Assembly's electronic information portal.
