Vietnam: The health of Party and State leaders is considered confidential information

This is a featured content specified in the Law on State Secrets Protection of Vietnam promulgated on November 15, 2018.

According to the Law on State Secrets Protection of Vietnam, one of the State secrets relating to healthcare and population is the information on healthcare for senior leaders of the Communist Party and the State.

Based on the importance of their contents and scale of damage in case of divulgence or loss, state secrets are classified into the following 03 levels: top secret, secret and confidential.

Moreover, this document also mentions a number of notable contents considered State secrets such as:

- Questions and answers of national examinations and information concerning the organization thereof;

- Strategies, plans and schemes for people with meritorious services to revolutions, social security and wage policies reform;

- Questions and answers of leadership position examinations, management, recruitment and rank promotions examinations for officials and public employees.
