Vietnam: Job position in Emergency Center 115

The Minister of Health issued Circular 03/2023/TT-BYT dated 17/02/2023 providing guidance on employment positions, norms on the number of employees, and structure of public employees by professional title in public non-business units.

The Minister of Health of Vietnam issued Circular 03/2023/TT-BYT dated February 17, 2023 on guidance on employment positions, norms on the number of employees, and structure of public employees by professional title in public non-business units.

According to Vietnam's Circular 03/2023/TT-BYT, based on the job position and the number of people working, the structure of civil servants by professional title at the 115 Emergency Center is prescribed as follows:

- The job position of Emergency Center 115 shall comply with the provisions of Appendix IX of Vietnam's Circular 03/2023/TT-BYT.

- Number of people working in Emergency Center 115:

+ Minimum 15 people/Center;

+ The center has 2 or more ambulances: 6 more people / 1 ambulance;

+ If the center has emergency points outside the center's headquarters, in addition to the norm of the number of people working according to the ambulance, each emergency point is staffed with 3 more people.

- The structure of civil servants by professional title at the 115 Emergency Center is as follows:

+ Doctors and nurses: 25 - 30%;

+ Other medical professional titles: 30 - 38%;

+ Groups of other relevant professional and professional titles: 1 - 2%;

In addition, with the shared professional title, the rate is 10–15%, and the service support group (including the labor contract) has a rate of 15–25%.

Vietnam's Circular 03/2023/TT-BYT takes effect from April 5, 2023.
