Vietnam: Classification of data and information on construction input norms, costs and output price indices

Circular No. 12/2019/TT-BXD guiding the development and administration of database systems for construction input norms, costs and output price indices was issued on December 26, 2019 by the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam.

According to Circular No. 12/2019/TT-BXD of the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam, classification of data and information on construction input norms, costs and output price indices is prescribed as follows:

- Data and information about construction input norms, including: norms for use of building materials; norms of labor productivity; norms of performance of building machinery and equipment; norms for construction cost estimation; etc.

- Data and information about construction costs, including: cost per unit and total cost of components of a construction project; costs of building materials; unit labor costs; per-shift machine and construction equipment costs; unit construction costs.

- Data and information about construction output price indices;

- Data and information about construction projects and contracts, including: project information; total investment amount; construction cost estimation; successful bid price; contract value; etc.
