Amended and supplemented administrative procedures in the road sector resolved by local authorities in Vietnam

Administrative procedures revised, supplemented, replaced, or abolished in the road sector within the scope of management functions of the Ministry of Transport are issued together with the Decision 1743/QD-BGTVT dated December 31, 2024.

The administrative procedures in the road sector resolved by local authorities that have been revised and supplemented include:

- Issuance of a transport business license using an automobile or a four-wheeled vehicle with a motor;

- Reissuance of a transport business license using an automobile or a four-wheeled vehicle with a motor when there are changes related to the content of the business license or when the business license has been revoked;

- Reissuance of a transport business license using an automobile or a four-wheeled vehicle with a motor in the event the business license is lost or damaged;

- Registration for operating fixed-route passenger transport;

- Extension of circulation duration in Vietnam for vehicles from countries implementing the ASEAN Framework Agreement on Cross-Border Road Transport;

- Extension of circulation duration in Vietnam for vehicles from countries implementing the GMS Agreement;

- Extension of circulation duration in Vietnam for vehicles from Laos, Cambodia;

- Proposal for issuance of an international road transport license between Vietnam and China, type D, for Vietnamese vehicles;

- Issuance of an international road transport license between Vietnam and China, type D, for Chinese vehicles;

- Extension of circulation duration in Vietnam for Chinese vehicles;

- Extension of circulation duration in Vietnam for Lao vehicles;

- Extension of circulation duration in Vietnam for Cambodian vehicles;

Decision 1743/QD-BGTVT comes into effect from January 1, 2025.
