Vietnam: Audit officials and public employees who have worked for less than 6 months/year shall not perform assessment and classification

This is a notable content of the Decision No. 1681/QĐ-KTNN on the promulgation of the Regulation on assessment and classification of officials, public employees and employees of the State Audit of Vietnam.

According to Article 2 of the Regulation on assessment and classification of officials, public employees and employees of the State Audit of Vietnam issued together with the Decision No. 1681/QĐ-KTNN, officials and public employees working at units under the State Audit with less than 6 months of working time in a year shall not be assessed and classified but still have to review their working time in the year, except for maternity leave.

Concurrently, officials and public employees who are absent from work as prescribed by law in the year from 03 months to less than 06 months, they will still carry out the assessment but they will not be graded at the level of completing tasks well or higher. Officials and public employees taking maternity leave as prescribed by law, the ranking result in the year is the classification result of the actual working time of that year.

The results of assessment and classification of officials and public employees are used as a basis for the evaluation and classification of party members.
