Guidance on procedures for registering for the High School Graduation Exam 2024 in Vietnam

- Candidates will register for the exam in accordance with requirements and guidance of the Minister of Education and Training of Vietnam. The deadline for submission of applications for registration shall be stipulated in annual guidelines for administration of high school graduation exam issued by the Minister of Education and Training of Vietnam. 

-  The head master of high school or head of registration place shall take responsibilities for practices pertaining to instructing candidates, collecting application forms for the exam and inserting candidate details (in case of online registration); reviewing and updating candidate’s learning performance at the high school; searching information from the national population database in order to certify whether or not candidates are given priority due to permanent residence (the certification is done on the exam management system); verifying applications for the exam and announcing disqualified candidates as prescribed in Clause 2 Article 12 of the Regulation on High School Graduation Exam issued together with Circular 15/2020/TT-BGDDT, amended by Circular 05/2021/TT-BGDDT, Circular 06/2023/TT-BGDDT, and Circular 02/2024/TT-BGDDT at least 15 days before the day of exam; managing applications for the exam and forwarding the registration data to the Departments of Education and Training;

- The Departments of Education and Training shall manage registration data in the province and send the data to the Minister of Education and Training of Vietnam

- The head master of the high school or the Head of the unit where the candidate registered for the exam is responsible for printing, signing and sending examination notices to candidates.
