Vietnam: Applications for registration of a microfinance program

The Prime Minister of Vietnam approved Decision No. 20/2017/QĐ-TTg on microfinance programs and projects of political institutions, socio-political organizations and non-governmental organizations.

According to Decision No. 20/2017/QĐ-TTg of the Prime Minister of Vietnam, applications for registration of a microfinance program include:

- An application form for registration of the microfinance program made using the Form 01 enclosed herewith

- Documents concerning the establishment and operation of the applicant.

- A written representation of the origin of capital for the microfinance program.

- The expected organizational structure, administration and control of the microfinance program.

- The expected manager’s resume and documentary evidence for his/her fulfillment of the criteria.

- Draft internal regulations.

Organizations shall submit the application directly or by post to the Central Banking Inspection and Supervision Authority or the branch of the State Bank.
