This is the newly mentioned content in Regulation 102-QD/TW on the disciplinary handling of Communist Party members who violate.
Any Communist Party member who exploits and uses social media to speak ill, defame, or undermine the credibility of the leadership role of the Communist Party will be disciplined in the form of expulsion from the Communist Party.
Depending on the violation, the statute of limitations for disciplinary action will vary, specifically:
- 5 years for actions warranting a reprimand.- 10 years for actions warranting a warning or demotion.
However, the statute of limitations for disciplinary action does not apply to Communist Party members for violations warranting expulsion and actions in one of the following areas:
- Violations of internal political matters- Violations concerning national security, defense, and foreign affairs affecting national interests- Violations related to the use of illegal diplomas, certificates, and certifications.
Regulation 102-QD/TW effective from November 15, 2017, replaces Regulation 181-QD/TW.
