To remove requirements for certificates of informatics and foreign languages for environmental resources officers in Vietnam

The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Vietnam issued Circular 12/2022/TT-BTNMT on October 24, 2022, amending regulations on standards for professional titles of environmental resources officers in Vietnam

Compared to the current regulations in the Joint Circulars 52/2015/TTLT-BTNMT-BNV, 53/2015/TTLT-BTNMT-BNV, 54/2015/TTLT-BTNMT-BNV, 55/2015/TTLT-BTNMT-BNV, 56/2015/TTLT-BTNMT-BNV, 57/2015/TTLT-BTNMT-BNV that removes computer science and foreign language certificates from the qualification standards for education and training of the following professional titles:

- Land Registrar Class II, Class III, Class IV;

- Environmental Resource Investigator Class II, Class III, Class IV;

- Hydrometeorological Forecaster Class II, Class III, Class IV;

- Hydrometeorological Controller Class II, Class III, Class IV;

- Environmental Resource Monitor Class II, Class III, Class IV;

- Cartographer Class II, Class III, Class IV.

Instead, it requires public employees in Vietnam to have skills in using information technology and foreign languages as needed for the job position.

Circular 12/2022/TT-BTNMT is effective in Vietnam from December 09, 2022.
