To improve the effectiveness of coordination between the Government and the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front 

Joint Resolution 01/2023/NQLT-CP-DCTUBTTMMTTQVN stipulates the purpose, principles, content, mechanism, and responsibilities in coordination between the Government and the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Accordingly, the purpose is to improve the effectiveness of coordination between the Government and the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in carrying out the functions, tasks, powers, and responsibilities of each party according to the provisions of the Party, the Constitution and the laws of the State.

At the same time, ensure consistency, rigor, substance, timeliness, focus, effectiveness,  and efficiency for coordination content for each year, term, and period in accordance with the Party's regulations, the Constitution, the State's laws, and the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Comply with operating principles while maximizing the role and responsibility of each party in participating in building and implementing the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws, regulations, and policies of great national unity.

Coordinate to gather and build great national unity in Vietnam

The two sides coordinate in gathering the people, implementing democracy, strengthening social consensus, and contributing to building great national unity; Coordinate and mobilize the people to promote all resources, creativity, and compliance with the Party's policies and laws and the State's laws to well-perform political, economic - social, defense, and security tasks, contributing to building and protecting the Fatherland.

The Government directs ministries, ministerial-level agencies, and agencies under the Government to coordinate and ensure necessary conditions for the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to organize campaigns, gather outstanding intellectuals, individuals, experts, and scientists in various fields to participate in activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; and promote and mobilize Vietnamese people abroad to return to their homeland and country to contribute to building and firmly protecting the Vietnamese Fatherland.

The Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front invited the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Ministers and Government Members to attend the annual Great National Solidarity Festival in residential areas.

More details can be found in Joint Resolution 01/2023/NQLT-CP-DCTUBTTMMTTQVN, taking effect on October 10, 2023, and replacing Joint Resolution 19/2008/NQLT-CP-UBTUMTTQVN, dated August 22, 2008.
