To implement legitimate typification to supplement legislative documents in effect but not yet placed into the legitimately typified Code

Regarding the review, identification, and supplementation of effective legislative documents not yet organized into the legitimately typified Code, the Ministry of Planning and Investment of Vietnam has outlined the tasks to be carried out as follows:

(1) Review and compile a list of legislative documents containing effective legal regulations not yet organized into the legitimately typified Code to be submitted to the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam for approval.

The unit responsible for codifying and reviewing legislative documents containing effective legal regulations not yet organized into the legitimately typified Code under their jurisdiction must carry out codification according to the provisions in Article 4 of the Ordinance on Codifying the System of Legal Norms and compile a List, proposing solutions for updates or the addition of new entries (if any) submitted to the Ministry of Justice for aggregation and reporting to the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam for approval.

- Completion deadline: 2024.

(2) Continue codifying effective legal regulations not yet organized into the legitimately typified Code as per the plan approved by the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam.

The unit responsible for codifying shall execute the codification of effective legal regulations not yet organized into the legitimately typified Code following the plan approved by the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam.

The codification of effective legal regulations not yet organized into the legitimately typified Code shall be conducted according to the provisions on updating new legal regulations and new entries into the legitimately typified Code in Article 13 of the Ordinance on Codifying the System of Legal Norms and detailed regulatory documents and implementation guidelines; sending the codification results to the Ministry of Justice for inspection and updating into the legitimately typified Code.

- Completion deadline: 2025.
