Below is the list of firework locations for Lunar New Year in 2025 in Ba Ria – Vung Tau according to the province's Plan.

On December 17, 2024, the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau issued Plan 325/KH-UBND regarding the organization of activities to celebrate the Communist Party and spring At Ty 2025 in the area.
The aim is to create a joyous and cheerful atmosphere to serve residents and tourists in the area. Ba Ria - Vung Tau Province will organize an art program and a fireworks display to welcome the New Year’s Eve at 8 locations across the province using funds from private investment:
(1) Bai Truoc area (Vung Tau City);
(2) Ba Ria park square (Ba Ria City);
(3) District-level town Phu My stadium;
(4) Phuoc Buu commune-level town lakefront area (Xuyen Moc District);
(5) Extended Tran Hung Dao Street (Chau Duc District);
(6) Pier 914 (Con Dao District);
(7) Cultural, Information, and Sports Center in Long Dien commune-level town (Long Dat District);
(8) Cultural, Information, and Sports Center in Dat Do commune-level town (Long Dat District).
Also in Plan 325/KH-UBND, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province organizes a series of meaningful activities such as a commemoration campaign for the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025); organizing care for the poor, those with difficult circumstances, and the elderly living alone in the area; visiting and giving gifts to revolution contributors, policy families...
Activities include Spring Newspaper Festival; art programs celebrating the Communist Party and spring; sports activities (Lan-Su-Rong competition; Kurash, Muay...); and a focus on environmental sanitation and urban embellishment during the Lunar New Year.
Particularly notable is the "Ba Ria - Vung Tau Impression of 2024" program, which will be held at 7:00 PM on January 28, 2025, at Ba Ria park square, serving the local people and tourists.
According to Article 17 of Decree 137/2020/ND-CP, agencies, organizations, and individuals with full civil act capacity can use fireworks in the following instances:
Festivals, New Year, birthdays, weddings, conferences, grand openings, anniversaries, and in cultural and artistic activities.
Note: When using fireworks, they must be purchased from organizations and businesses that are authorized to produce and trade in fireworks, specifically those produced by Z121 Factory under the Ministry of National Defense.

Fireworks are products made either manually or industrially, which, when subject to mechanical, thermal, chemical, or electrical stimuli, create sound, light, and color effects in space, without producing explosive noises.

* Explosive fireworks or firecrackers are not permitted
Explosive fireworks are products made either manually or industrially, which, upon mechanical, thermal, chemical, or electrical stimuli, produce explosive sounds or whistling, explosive sounds, and color effects in space;
An explosive firework causing whistling, explosive sounds, and color effects in space is called an explosive firework;
Low-level explosive fireworks have a diameter not exceeding 90 mm or a firing range not exceeding 120 m. High-level explosive fireworks have a diameter exceeding 90 mm or a firing range exceeding 120 m;

- Research, manufacture, production, purchase, sale, export, import, storage, transportation, use, or appropriation of explosive fireworks; except for organizations and businesses under the Ministry of National Defense assigned by the Prime Minister of the Government of Vietnam the task to research, produce, import, export, supply, transport, and use explosive fireworks under the provisions of this Decree.
- Research, manufacture, production, purchase, sale, export, import, storage, transportation, or illegal use of fireworks and firework materials.
- Illegally bringing fireworks and firework materials into or out of the territory of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam or into prohibited places, restricted areas, protected areas, and protected targets.
- Exploiting or abusing fireworks to infringe on national security, social order and safety, life, health, property, rights, and legitimate interests of agencies, organizations, and individuals.
- Exchanging, gifting, lending, leasing, or pawning explosive fireworks or firework materials to illegally manufacture fireworks; unsafe transportation, storage, or destruction of fireworks; or activities that affect the environment.
- Appropriation, purchase, sale, exchange, gifting, lending, leasing, or pawning of fake, modified, or falsified fireworks permits.
- Delivering explosive fireworks or firework materials to agencies, organizations, or individuals without qualifying conditions as prescribed.
- Instructing, training, or organizing training on methods to create, manufacture, or illegally use fireworks in any form.
- Intentionally providing false information about the management and storage of fireworks and firework materials; failing to report or not promptly reporting, concealing, or falsifying information about loss, loss, accidents, or incidents related to fireworks and firework materials.
