Joint Circular 09/2016/TTLT-BLDTBXH-BTC, which is effective from August 1, 2016, on the implementation of support for sending guest workers in Vietnam stipulates following regulations:

Support levels for vocational training, foreign language training, and essential knowledge training costs for workers are as follows:

- Vocational training: According to actual costs and the maximum level stipulated in Decision 46/2015/QD-TTg;

- Foreign language training: According to the specific course, actual study time, and a maximum of 3 million VND/person/course

- Meal allowance during training period: 40,000 VND/person/day;- Travel expenses for employees from their legal residence to the training location as stipulated in this Joint Circular.

Workers who are classified as underprivileged households as defined will also receive additional support for accommodation during the training period and essential personal supplies.
