This is a notable content of Decree 110/2020/ND-CP regulating the policies on awards for students and learners who win prizes in national and international competitions.
To be specific, according to Decree 110/2020/ND-CP, students who win awards in international Olympic contests in subjects, international scientific and technical research competitions, and world vocational skills competitions will be rewarded as follows:
- Gold medal or first prize: 55 million VND;- Silver medal or second prize: 35 million VND;- Bronze medal or third prize: 25 million VND;- Encouragement prize: 10 million VND.
At the same time, students who win awards in Asian Olympic contests in subjects and Asian vocational skills competitions will be rewarded as follows:
- Gold medal: 35 million VND;- Silver medal: 25 million VND;- Bronze medal: 10 million VND;- Encouragement prize: 8 million VND.
Especially, students who are ethnic minorities or disabled and win awards will receive 1.5 times the reward rates as stipulated above. In case students are both ethnic minorities and disabled and win awards in competitions, they will receive 2 times the reward rates as stipulated above.
