Regulations on the Transfer and Receipt of State-Owned Assets

The Ministry of Finance has promulgated Circular 57/2018/TT-BTC guiding the implementation of a number of articles of Decree 29/2018/ND-CP on the procedures for establishing public ownership of assets and the handling of assets that have been established as public property.

In this Circular, it is stipulated that assets such as Vietnamese currency, foreign currency, valuable papers, gold, silver, and precious stones under national ownership shall be transferred to the State Treasury at the district and provincial levels.

National treasures, antiquities, and items of historical value shall be transferred to the National Museum of History or the provincial State Museum where the exhibits and administrative violation means are confiscated.

Concerning other exhibits and administrative violation means that have been confiscated and established as public property, the transfer shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of Decree 115/2013/ND-CP.
