Recently, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has issued Circular 07/2018/TT-BNV regulating the appointment and salary ranking of the professional title for pre-university teachers who are public employees currently teaching at public pre-university schools.

Public employees appointed to the professional titles of pre-university teachers regulated in Circular 06/2017/TT-BNV and Circular 30/2017/TT-BGDDT are to be applied with the corresponding salary scales issued together with Decree 204/2004/ND-CP as follows:

- Professional title of pre-university teacher Grade I (code V.07.07.17), applying the salary coefficient of public employees of type A2 (group A2.1), salary coefficient from 4.40 to 6.78;- Professional title of pre-university teacher Grade II (code V.07.07.18), applying the salary coefficient of public employees of type A2 (group A2.2), salary coefficient from 4.00 to 6.38;- Professional title of pre-university teacher Grade III (code V.07.07.19), applying the salary coefficient of public employees of type A1, salary coefficient from 2.34 to 4.98.
