The Supreme People's Procuracy has just issued Decision 559/QD-VKSTC Promulgating Regulations on the Collection, Acceptance, Processing, and Resolution of Criminal Information within the Jurisdiction of the Central Military Procuracy's Investigation Agency.

When receiving information about crimes, the Investigation Agency of the Central Military Procuracy (hereinafter referred to as IAgency) must register it in the receipt and handling log as follows:

- If the information clearly indicates a criminal sign and falls under the authority of the IAgency, a Decision to assign an investigator to resolve the report will be issued. Subsequently, the Assignment Decision will be sent to the Central Military Procuracy;- If the information does not fall under the authority of the IAgency, a proposal is made for the Head of the IAgency to report to the Chief Procurator of the Central Military Procuracy to immediately transfer the information to the competent authority for resolution;- If the information is unclear in content, authority, but related to the jurisdiction of the IAgency, the IAgency will directly or cooperate with other units to check and verify the information about the crime.

Decision 559/QD-VKSTC is effective from January 01, 2018.
