the Government of Vietnam has recently promulgated Decree 22/2018/ND-CP detailing the implementation of certain articles and measures for executing the Intellectual Property Law 2005 and the Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Intellectual Property Law 2009 regarding copyright and related rights.

Effective from April 10, 2018, Decree 22/2018/ND-CP officially takes effect and repeals the following documents:

- Decree 100/2006/ND-CP stipulating detailed regulations and guidance on the implementation of various Articles of the Civil Code and the Intellectual Property Law concerning copyright and related rights;- Decree 85/2011/ND-CP amending and supplementing several Articles of Decree 100/2006/ND-CP, providing detailed regulations and guidance on the implementation of several Articles of the Civil Code and the Intellectual Property Law concerning copyright and related rights.
