New Regulations on Quality Inspection Procedures for Export and Import Goods

Office of the Government has just issued Official Dispatch 4979/VPCP-KSTT regarding the standardization of procedures and processes for quality inspection of export and import products and goods.

Accordingly:

- Ministries and sectors shall amend licensing procedures and specialized inspections to comply with Decree 63/2010/ND-CP and complete them by Q1/2019; in which quality inspection procedures must clearly stipulate the pre-clearance and post-clearance inspection processes; clearly identify cases where inspection agencies must take samples for checking and the responsibilities of enterprises participating in sample collection;- Expedite the integration of licensing procedures and specialized inspections into the national single-window mechanism according to the regulations in Decision 2185/QD-TTg;- The Ministry of Information and Communications shall carry out procedures to abolish the procedure to "Issue import licenses for broadcasting and radio transceiving equipment" as stipulated in Circular 18/2014/TT-BTTTT;- The Ministry of Health shall proceed with the procedure to abolish the validity of Circular 30/2015/TT-BYT on the import of medical equipment and amend Decree 36/2016/ND-CP.
