New Law: Amending 11 Laws Related to Planning

On June 15, 2018, the National Assembly officially passed Law No. 28/2018/QH14 amending and supplementing 11 Laws related to planning, specifically as follows:

Law on Food Safety regarding the State's policy on Food Safety;
Law on Notarization regarding the principles of establishing notarization practicing organizations;
Law on Pharmacy regarding the responsibilities of Ministries in the development of the pharmaceutical industry;
Law on Investment regarding the support for infrastructure development in Industrial Zones (IZs), Export Processing Zones (EPZs), High-Tech Zones (HTZs), and Economic Zone (EZs);
Law on Public Investment to add more fields of public investment;
Law on Electricity regarding the planning for electricity development;
Law on Chemicals regarding the State's policy on chemical activities;
Law on Science and Technology regarding the planning of the public science and technology organization network;
Law on Prevention and Control of Tobacco Harm regarding the State's policy on tobacco harm prevention and control;
Law on Economical and Efficient Use of Energy regarding the strategy, planning, and program for the use of energy;
Law on Children regarding ensuring the implementation of children's rights and child protection.
