For goods listed in the catalog but lacking a commodity code, upon importation, businesses must provide the customs authority with information regarding the composition, effects, and technical documents (if any) of the goods and make a commitment regarding the authenticity of the declared content.

Circular 09/2018/TT-BYT is effective from June 12, 2018, replacing Circular 12/2016/TT-BYT.
