The Minister of Health of Vietnam issues Circular 50/2024/TT-BYT dated December 31, 2024, regarding the List of severe diseases for organizations and individuals to mobilize, receive, distribute, and utilize voluntary contributions to support patients with severe diseases.
According to the Circular 50/2024/TT-BYT, the list of severe diseases for organizations and individuals to mobilize, receive, distribute, and utilize voluntary contributions to support patients with severe diseases, including:
- Listeria meningitis and meningoencephalitis;
- Sepsis;
- Acute poliomyelitis;
- HIV leading to infections and parasitic diseases/causing malignant tumors/leading to other specified diseases/other pathologies;
- Malignant tumors;
- Acquired hemolytic anemia;
- Other forms of bone marrow failure;
- Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura;
- Diseases of the lymphoreticular and (histiocytic) reticuloendothelial tissue;
- Combined immunodeficiency;
- …
The list of severe diseases issued in conjunction with Circular 50/2024/TT-BYT does not apply to the cases stipulated in:
- Decree 140/2021/ND-CP specifying policies applying administrative measures in educational and mandatory education institutions;
- Decree 134/2016/ND-CP detailing several articles and measures for the implementation of the Law on Export and Import Duties;
- Resolution 02/2018/NQ-HDTP guiding the application of Article 65 of the Criminal Code on suspended sentences;
- Circular 26/2014/TT-BQP issuing the list of severe diseases and prolonged treatment diseases to implement policies, policies in the military;
- The list of severe diseases specified at point a, clause 4, Article 22 of the Law on Health Insurance that has been amended and supplemented.
